Written March 30th 2009

My name is Kevin, at age 45 I had a mild stroke on March 12th 2009. I am research orientated. I love to research things outside what is considered the established norm in both the medical field and the Corporate and Governmental mis-deeds and lies that are perpetrated to the general public on a mass scale...

Oops ! did I just lose some readers?

Sure I did. People that just dropped out love their mommy's to pat them on their little heads, tuck them into bed and tell them everything will be alright. Few actually have the guts to actually dig up the truth about the world around them and prefer to live in some sort of fantasy wonder land that may only exist if people would actually tackle the truth and lies head on. Enough said.

Why did I get a stroke?
What causes a stroke?
How do you prevent getting a stroke?

Virtually everybody will get a stroke weather at 45 or 85 so it is essential that you learn what it is, what triggers them and how to prevent it.Now my story:As a child my life was full of emotional pain, lead and mercury exposure, depression, hypoglycemia (Low blood sugar) and malnutrition from poor eating habits so I got off to a terrible start in life. I never was over weight but always fatigued. Starting in my 20s I learned about nutrition, vitamins and herbs and spent decades always trying to improve my health.

I likely started to develop plaque in the arteries at a young age that I presently believe showed up as high blood pressure at age 35.Prior to this between age 21 to 35 I would see the doctor on occasion for migrain headaches. He was always surprised that everything was normal in the blood tests.
Blood pressure perfect, Cholesterol perfect, everything.
He would shake his head in disbelief and say "huh !, this is amazing, everything is perfect, normally people have something off but not you".
Yet he had no suggestions what to do about the migraines other than take some meds. I was more interested in what is causing the migraines and get to the root and fix that. It took me 10 years to discover the migraines occurred only when I would take vitamin tablets and herbs. Then discovering that the problem were allergies but there was also a reason for the allergies.

One, I was dehydrated. Vitamins are essentially dehydrated foods, you need a significant amount of water so that they absorb properly.
Two, if a person does not eat sufficient greens then they do not get sufficient enzymes to digest foods or vitamins properly. The reason for food allergies for example if you eat an egg and there are not sufficient fluids or enzymes to digest the egg then improperly digested particles will enter the blood stream.
The body then knows that particles this size do not belong in the blood stream so the immune system kicks in as if it a virus to eliminate the food particles. The imune system now becomes over sensitive to eggs and attacks any egg products you eat. Solution, plenty of water and digestive enzymes, the immune system will eventually desensitize.

This is what really happens in the body but the medical field can't profit from suggesting that you take digestive enzymes and drink plenty of water so they describe food allergies as an over sensitivity to foods and approach it through a series of shots that desensitizes the immune system but they never get to the actual cause therefore you will be a repeat customer in the future. Anybody in any kind of business hopes for that repeat customer, Medical doctors and Veterinarians all tied to the ever powerful drug industries have a never ending revolving door.

Once I get that figured out then my next visit to the doctor I have high blood pressure, WHAT ?!Well what happened to my perfect readings? I had refused to take blood pressure meds and eventually my doctor became upset with me. I insisted that there must be a reason and I wanted to fix whatever was causing it,
he said "it's genetic".
I said "genetic? So your telling me that I have a genetic time bomb that is set to kill me at a certain age?",
he was silent for 3 seconds then sad, "Yes".
I still did not beleive that, I asked "what about clogged arteries?"
Looking at my blood tests he said "you don't have clogged arteries".

I tried every herb under the sun that is supposed to bring blood pressure down and even though the pressure would come down 10 points for a day would adjust back up as if something in my brain was telling the heart to keep the pressure up. I occasionally thought maybe there were clogged arteries but never addressed it as the doctor was so sure I did not have any clogged arteries.

Over the years the pressure continued to climb and got to an amazing 280 over 190, then my heart was under a terrible strain and I could feel it so then I went to the doctor. He prescribed ExForge and as this brought the pressure much lower, I felt better. The pressure was down to 160 over 98. After a couple of weeks I noticed that whichever side I laid on at night went to sleep. This was my first indication that I was not getting sufficient blood supply to my limbs, no big deal I thought, so I roll over and I get the blood supply back. Little did I know what was about to occur within the next two weeks as I continued the medication in an effort to bring the blood pressure to normal then one day I was hit with the flu. I had serious dizziness and developed a numbness on the right side of the tongue, gums, arm, hand, leg and foot.

When I researched the symptoms of numbness on one side it came back as a stroke. My wife insisted it was only a symptom of the flu so when I Googled "flu numbness", I found story after story after story of people who got the flu then reported numbness on one side, so at first it appeared to be a symptom of some strain of the flu, but I continued to search and found some who never got over the numbness and the more I searched discovered that for people prone to a stroke that very often the onset of the flu does trigger a stroke because the onset of the flu pumps fatty tissue into the blood stream. Further study of what a stroke is then led me to stop taking my BP meds, I then scheduled a visit with my doctor who told me to stay on the meds and I refused because I knew that the lowering of the pressure prevented sufficient blood supply to the brain and I did not want a series of strokes.

A stroke is caused when plaque in the arteries build up to the point where blood is restricted, I believe that the brain is smart enough to know this then signals the heart to pump harder to get sufficient blood supply to where it needs to be. I then scheduled an MRI. The MRI confirmed a stroke called an Accute Lacunar Infarct of the left thalamus. I also find this fascinating because the largest majority of symptoms resemble mine as if this one particular region of the brain seems to be the first area to stop receiving blood supply. I feel my method was correct over the doctors recommendations. It's not that difficult to determine what is going on.

Pressure lowered, insufficient pressure to the brain, section of brain and brain cells die due to lack of blood and oxygen. The doctor wanted me to continue starving the brain of oxygen and blood, yea that's good for the doctor and kick backs from the surgeon he could buy that new Mercedes. I immediately knew that what my doctor said was the wrong answer. I want to raise blood pressure 10 points to get blood flow back to the brain so that new brain cells can rebuild and that is what is occurring. I also took many herbs to increase blood flow and started taking Nattokinase, a systemic enzyme to dissolve plaque in the arteries and a switch off with EDTA, a chelation therapy that also claims to dissolve plaque.

I slowly recovered use of my leg and foot, my arm and hand. At one point all of my gums, teeth, tongue and right side of my lips were numb exactly like being on Novocaine when it just begins to wear off. This numbness later became rather painful then slowly got better. Now I only take enough BP med to keep my pressure from getting above 190 and working on clearing out the plaque.

What do you think?

Yea, yea, I am sure many will say oh you should do what your doctor says. Sure, that's what the masses do and guess what. The standard is that the people then keep getting a series of strokes. The medical system is not designed to actually cure people but a process of milking people and insurance for as much money as possible and of course keeping them alive but sick as long as possible is of great bennefit. So far I am only in this for $1000 and I don't plan on giving the medical industry anymore of my money, I plan on getting to the root of this problem through a nutritionist or wholistic doctor now that I know waht to target.

Now what do you think about that?

Kevin
